[00:13] Jason: And it’s now time for big number four.

[00:16] Bobby: Welcome everybody to Bobby and Jason’s Awesome ’80s Podcast. I used to say live from Las Vegas, but technically we aren’t really live.

[00:25] Jason: Yes, very technically.

[00:28] Jason: Exactly. We’re live right now. Like, if I were to reach over there and sock you in the nose, it would hurt right now.

[00:33] Bobby: We’re live in the studio.

[00:34] Jason: But it wouldn’t hurt on Thursday.

[00:36] Bobby: Yeah. But anyway, we’re here, in mid-July, and it’s hot as balls here in Vegas. It’s like 106 outside.

[00:43] Jason: Dude, it is really, really, really hot.

[00:46] Bobby: It really is. So anyway, we’re here at episode four, and we’ve been getting a lot of great responses, we’re excited, but we wanted to recap episode three a little bit, ’cause Jason made a few mistakes.

[00:57] Jason: Oh, my God.

[01:01] Bobby: ‘Cause you know, listen, everybody out there, you know that I never, ever make a mistake.

[01:06] Jason: Oh, my God.

[01:08] Bobby: Can I tell you mistake number one that somebody named Bobby made?

[01:12] Jason: I would, listen, if there’s one thing that I love more than anything is listening to these things that this guy Bobby does wrong. So please, go ahead.

[01:21] Bobby: Well, first off, you remember the Sooperdooperlooper?

[01:24] Jason: Yes, my fave.

[01:26] Bobby: Well, we were talking about Great Adventure, Six Flags, in Jackson, New Jersey, and actually Sooperdooperlooper is in Hershey Park.

[01:33] Jason: Oh.

[01:34] Bobby: It’s not a big deal, but wanted to clear that up a little bit. The Sooperdooperlooper, I’m sure many of you out there have ridden that ride. I don’t know if it’s still there, it’s probably gone.

[01:46] Jason: Mm, yeah.

[01:47] Bobby: But they always update the rides. Anyway, I wanted to clear that up.

[01:52] Jason: I can’t believe that. Well, then what the hell was the name of that thing? I remember it looked like a space shuttle or whatnot.

[01:57] Bobby: It was kinda cool, I don’t know. Maybe some of our listeners can give us some feedback of some of the roller coasters back in the day at Great Adventure, the names.

[02:05] Jason: Yeah, come on, you ’80s people out there, help us out.

[02:07] Bobby: Another little mistake, it’s very minor. The Huey Lewis with the dinghy, remember I said he was in a Boat video, and it wasn’t-

[02:16] Jason: That’s a great word, bro.

[02:17] Bobby: I know. It wasn’t actually that video. I think it was Stuck on You.

[02:21] Jason: Stuck on You? Yeah, that came out, the album after.

[02:24] Bobby: Yes, but I, another great song, but I knew there was a dinghy, and I knew there was some action there in some kinda little boat, so technically I was right.

[02:32] Jason: I hear you, yeah, you were technically right, okay.

[02:35] Bobby: Come on, people, tell me I was right.

[02:36] Jason: I’ll give it to you. Okay, people out there, let’s give it to him.

[02:39] Bobby: But here’s the big mistake that I made.

[02:42] Jason: Ooh.

[02:42] Bobby: And I fully admit to this. I had a brain fart, I don’t know.

[02:47] Jason: Everybody out there in listening land, do you know how awesome it is to hear him fully admit he made a mistake? It’s awesome.

[02:54] Bobby: I did. I made a mistake about Back to the Future, the actress.

[02:56] Jason: OMG.

[02:58] Bobby: So the original actress, her name was Claudia Wells. It wasn’t Elizabeth Shue. Elizabeth Shue actually replaced Claudia Wells in Back to the Future II. So I had it backwards.

[03:10] Jason: Okay. All right.

[03:11] Bobby: Not a big deal. I mean, both girls, can I say, were very beautiful. Both.

[03:16] Jason: Oh, yeah.

[03:16] Bobby: So I didn’t have a problem with either one playing the role. What happened was Claudia Wells’ mother was diagnosed with cancer.

[03:27] Jason: Hmm.

[03:28] Bobby: So she had to take care of her, and she couldn’t reprise her role in Back to the Future II, so they got Elizabeth Shue. That was the reason.

[03:36] Jason: Makes a lot of sense.

[03:38] Jason: Yeah, makes a lot of sense.

[03:38] Bobby: Anyway, that’s a recap of episode three, let’s move on.

[03:43] Jason: Of Bobby’s glitches.

[03:44] Bobby: It’s the best.

[03:45] Jason: Isn’t that the best, everybody?

[03:46] Bobby: Bobby’s glitches. We can make a segment only about Bobby’s glitches. I love it so much.

[03:49] Jason: Seriously, it-

[03:50] Bobby: Makes me feel so smart. See, Jason loves when I make a mistake.

[03:53] Jason: It makes me feel so perfect, even though I know I’m far from it, believe me.

[03:57] Bobby: So let’s talk about some of the reaction we’ve gotten until now, from our first three podcasts.

[04:03] Jason: Yeah, our first three podcasts, we’ll let you in on a little secret here. We actually did a bunch of them in a row before we really released everything, ’cause we wanted to get in the groove. If you listen to the first one, you can see it’s gotten a little bit better, we’ve gotten a little here, done a little there. And this is really the first one since everything’s come out that we really are getting the feedback. And I can tell you honestly from reading everything, reading everything that everybody out there has said, and just your reaction to everything and your encouragement has just been pretty awesome. Because beforehand, honestly, Bobby and I were just sitting here in the room in between watching movies or doing whatever, and just like, “Let’s do this podcast and see what’s happening.” And now that everybody out there is amazing-

[04:49] Bobby: It really is.

[04:50] Jason: Hearing us talk and liking it.

[04:53] Bobby: We do wanna thank everybody so far for supporting us and commenting, and we wanna give some shout-outs to some of you. Some of the comments we have here from some of our social media, like Facebook and Twitter and Instagram, and I wanna read one.

[05:10] Jason: Ooh, okay.

[05:10] Bobby: It’s from Paula Bonin, and Paula’s always commenting, and she’s always supporting us. She wrote, “Shut the front door. Oh my God, I just fangirled out there for a minute or two.”

[05:26] Jason: Wow.

[05:26] Bobby: Great comment. We love it, Paula, and we appreciate the support.

[05:30] Jason: Fangirled out, I love it, Paula.

[05:32] Bobby: Why don’t you pick a comment and read it?

[05:36] Jason: I would love to, and hopefully I don’t mess up your name. This is a great name, Gerene Payton. “I love that friends are still friends, very true. And Bob’s voice and Jason sounds so radio.” Well, thank you, Jerese. “The top 10 tonight is… I love you guys. Bob, can you do the bandana? Can you do the bandana still around your waist?”

[06:02] Bobby: Listen, I’m actually in good condition, not sure I can actually get a bandana though around my waist. That was back in the teen years. That’s a stretch.

[06:14] Jason: Well, yeah, stretch is the key word.

[06:15] Bobby: I could get a stretchy bandana and probably that would work.

[06:19] Jason: I would love to see that one. We could get, if we can convince him to do that, I could put the pictures up there just for you.

[06:24] Bobby: I have a great comment, question here from Gin Anne, Virginia is her name. She says, “How often will you be doing the podcast so I don’t miss them?”

[06:35] Jason: Well, we’re doing them once a week right now is what we’re looking at, every Thursday. We do it sometime during the week when our schedules allow it. But we’re looking to do some more things. The reactions that we’re getting from everybody on Facebook and just across social media and the emails that we’re getting, which are fantastic, Bobby and I are having such a good time with it that we’re thinking about doing more.

[06:59] Bobby: We are. The podcast will be weekly, as Jason said. Thursdays is normally the day that we release a show, and Thursday’s Throwback Thursday, as you know. So we figured that’s a great day to release a podcast. And we definitely have more things in the works. We don’t want to spill the beans just yet, but we promise you we are working on many cool things, and I think everyone’s gonna love it.

[07:24] Jason: Everyone, I think, is gonna love it. [08:33] Bobby: Damn. Thanks, Franny. That was a very nice compliment. We’re aging, but I remember reading one comment, I don’t remember where, that they said we’re aging like fine wine.

[08:49] Jason: I’ll take it.

[08:50] Bobby: So I’ll take that, and we appreciate it. We really do.

[08:55] Jason: And you know what? Let me read one from Rose Franklin.

[08:58] Bobby: Oh, Rose is a big fan.

[09:00] Jason: Yeah, I see her all the time.

[09:00] Bobby: Yeah, she’s always commenting, and we love you, Rose.

[09:03] Jason: Yeah, Rose, you’re great, everything you’re saying and your comments, really appreciate them. Says, “I love listening to the podcast, all of them. I’m so proud of you two gentlemen.”

[09:12] Jason: Thank you.

[09:13] Bobby: We are gentlemen.

[09:14] Jason: Yes, I’m wearing a tie right now.

[09:14] Bobby: He’s lying.

[10:27] Bobby: I was gonna say, let me do my best Godfather.

[10:33] Jason: Okay, go, do it.

[10:34] Bobby: The show. Darth Vader, Luke, I am your father, the show.

[10:43] Jason: Okay, let’s get back to what we were talking about. Sorry folks, we got off track there, we’re a little wacky.

[10:51] Bobby: That’s funny, we are knuckleheads.

[10:53] Jason: It’s the heat.

[10:54] Bobby: Yes. So the point being is that listening and reading your emails that we’ve gotten on from the site, and reading Facebook and getting your tweets and your direct messages and all kinds of good stuff, it really reminds us a lot of what happened back on the show and talking to people that came to the show, and reactions and whatnot.

[11:14] Bobby: And one thing with you, I gotta give you props for, my friend, is that one thing you’ll notice with Bob, if you go back and you’ve managed to find some tapes-

[11:24] Jason: They’re out there, there’s VHS tapes out there. You can get them on the black market.

[11:26] Bobby: And you notice that Bob is always dancing, surrounded sometimes by a lot of fans that would come all the way from, I’m talking from all over the country. I always had a steady partner, and you all know who she is.

[11:43] Jason: Christina.

[11:44] Bobby: Yes.

[11:45] Jason: Can I say that? I’m sorry.

[11:46] Bobby: No, you can say that, there’s nothing wrong. Hey, man, you guys were a great couple. You guys were the ultimate couple at the time, fans loved seeing you guys together.

[11:56] Jason: Yeah, well, that was an excellent time in my life, and she was-

[12:02] Bobby: She was cool, I liked Christina. But yeah, back on to the guests who came to the show.

[12:10] Jason: Yes, the guests who came to the show.

[12:12] Bobby: I always tried to, they traveled from very far parts of our country, and I thought it was probably better for me to dance with them. They asked me to dance, and I really didn’t wanna say no to anyone, so I would dance with one, two, three, four, or five girls at one time. So it was a good time.

[12:30] Jason: Yeah, and then you would leave them and come dance with me and Joe.

[12:32] Bobby: Yes, exactly. When we heard Talk Dirty To Me, or Fight For Your Right to Party, or any type of song like that, or a Bon Jovi song, we had our songs that we would all just run and meet in the middle of the risers and just act a fool.

[12:51] Jason: Yes.

[12:53] Bobby: How many people out there remember us jumping around, picking up Marlon Dow, throwing him around? I can’t believe some of the things that we did, and that Marlon never got hurt.

[13:04] Jason: I can’t believe it either. If you look back at some of the stuff that we got away with, it was crazy, man. You couldn’t do that today on television, you just couldn’t do it. We’ve watched some of these things, ’cause again, we break out these show tapes every once in a while, and there’s always a new one, we’ll dust it off, the actual dust, and we’ll pop it in.

[13:24] Jason: And we see things, and the fact that Marlon is still in one piece is just, just blows my mind. He really is.

[13:31] Bobby: Marlon is in one piece, looks great. Actually looks the same as he did back in the ’80s.

[13:37] Jason: It’s crazy.

[13:38] Bobby: He’s a good friend of ours.

[13:40] Jason: So back to you with the fans is the fact that whenever they would come in I would be there, ’cause I always had my partner I was dancing with. Bob would always, these girls and fans would always come up to him, and one thing I will give you credit for, my friend, is that you were always extremely gracious with your time, and you made them feel comfortable, and it was wonderful seeing the reactions on their faces when they had a chance to dance with you and interact with you.

[14:08] Jason: Yeah, so it was really cool.

[14:09] Bobby: No, I had a great time meeting everybody. I met people from all over and different types, and everybody was always so nice to us, and they would bring us gifts and T-shirts and sometimes food. We always loved getting food.

[14:25] Jason: Food was good.

[14:27] Bobby: It was a good time, man.

[14:29] Jason: Having those reactions with a lot of fans, I had one or two that came by too, but I usually would get a lot of the Jason and Christina banners and stuff like that, which is great.

[14:40] Bobby: Well, we always took pictures with the fans, and there’s a lot of those floating around. I don’t know if anybody has any pictures of us back in that time. If maybe some of you listening actually danced with us or met us, I would love for you to post some of those.

[14:55] Jason: I saw this one, you have this one on your page.

[14:59] Bobby: Right, which one is that?

[15:01] Jason: With some of me, you, Joe, and Marlo, or however it is they spelled Marlon’s name.

[15:07] Bobby: Oh, yeah, it’s a fan drawing, and they spell Marlon’s name, put Marlo or something. Marvin. No, it’s Marvin, yes, Marvin Dao. Who knew? But yeah, it was a great drawing of the four of us, and it captured our style at the time, our crazy clothes, crazy hair, all the colors. It was cool.

[15:30] Jason: So yeah, with the fans that came down there, I’m sure getting to go into the studio and seeing everybody that you saw on TV every day, I’m sure it was pretty cool. Like when I’ve gone to concerts and stuff and been backstage or whatnot, it’s still like, “Whoa, I can’t believe this person’s there.”

[15:49] Bobby: Can I give you a quick fan experience?

[15:50] Jason: Please.

[15:51] Bobby: It wasn’t in the studio, but a fan actually bought tickets to the Huey Lewis and the News concert when he was in Philadelphia. She wanted me to escort her to the show, and she had front row tickets. So I was a big Huey Lewis fan, and of course I went. It was a great time, I met her, we saw the show, took pictures, had a good time.

[16:19] Jason: That’s awesome.

[16:19] Bobby: So yeah, that really happened.

[16:21] Jason: That’s really cool.

[16:22] Bobby: I didn’t get kidnapped or nothing, it was great.

[16:25] Jason: And speaking of concerts, I don’t know why, this just popped into my head, do you remember when you and I went to the George Michael concert together?

[16:30] Bobby: Oh, yeah.

[16:31] Jason: Remember that? That was pretty crazy.

[16:32] Bobby: It was, that was crazy. Because we were, that was the height of his fame, and also we were obviously linked to George Michael and Wham!

[16:40] Jason: That was like the peak, if you just follow some of that stuff, the peak of when all that show stuff was really super popular back then. So when we went in, things were a little nutty.

[16:52] Bobby: Yeah, it was cool, man. It was cool, the reaction was quite-

[16:56] Jason: Quite enthusiastic.

[16:59] Bobby: It was really weird, it was interesting.

[17:00] Jason: Yeah, it was fun though.

[17:01] Bobby: It was.

[17:02] Jason: Man, I need some water, I’m telling you.

[17:05] Bobby: Drink up, it’s hot.

[17:07] Jason: I know, man, it’s, that’s the thing, even when it’s hot out here, you go outside, you’re… we’re inside all the time.

[17:13] Bobby: Right, we’re in the air conditioning. But we always keep bottled water close by.

[17:18] Jason: That’s right. So even when you go outside, here’s your day, you’re gonna go out to your car to drive somewhere else that’s air-conditioned.

[17:26] Bobby: Basically, you go from one air-conditioned place to another.

[17:29] Jason: Yes, and that’s about all you need from the outside. So here, I did this the other night, you might think this is cool. I went to the, me and the wife went to the Cosmopolitan, and they had this place, I don’t know if you heard about it, called Secret Pizza.

[17:40] Bobby: I haven’t.

[17:41] Jason: You haven’t heard about this? It’s, like, on the third floor down a little hall-

[17:44] Bobby: I know The Cosmopolitan’s real hip, cool kind of place.

[17:46] Jason: It’s really cool, I really like it. So we, upstairs on the third, and you had me thinking about it from the Mack’s Pizza comment. So upstairs on the third level, it’s, like, a little hallway with no sign, and it’s just a pizza place, as if you were standing in there. Like just Mack’s. And the slices are done New York style.

[18:09] Bobby: Is it good?

[18:10] Jason: Oh, it’s delicious.

[18:10] Bobby: Oh, I need to go.

[18:11] Jason: And they had a couple old school video games there, it was awesome, it was like an old pizza par-, like nobody’s in there, there’s, like, nowhere to really sit.

[18:19] Bobby: Do you remember back in the day in pizza parlors there would always be video games?

[18:23] Jason: Yes, that’s what I was getting at. We’re gonna have to go there because, I know you have that video, you got your Pac-Man machine here.

[18:31] Bobby: Yeah, we actually have a Pac-Man machine here at the studio. It has, like, 20 original games from back in the day, like Pac-Man, Mrs. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr.

[18:43] Jason: I didn’t know that Mrs. Pac-Man was on that. At Secret Pizza they had Mrs. Pac-Man, and I was just playing it and I was like, “Man,” like slamming the joystick from side to side.

[18:53] Bobby: I know, man, that’s the shit. I love the joystick action.

[18:56] Jason: Isn’t it great? And with the 2600 and all the old games, the new stuff is fantastic, don’t get me wrong, Xbox One and all that stuff is great.

[19:07] Bobby: But let’s talk about, what about Atari? Did you have an Atari?

[19:09] Jason: Oh my God, talk about the biggest fights in my household, man.

[19:13] Bobby: Who’s gonna get the Atari?

[19:14] Jason: Yeah, who gets control?

[19:14] Bobby: Well, you know, being the oldest did have a couple perks, I will tell you that.

[19:19] Bobby: Did you have a favorite game?

[19:22] Jason: I was a big fan of Adventure and Pitfall.

[19:25] Bobby: You know what I liked? I liked Pole Position. I always liked fast cars, and the graphics weren’t the best, but I just remember it was really fun to play.

[19:32] Jason: Yeah, that was a great, Pole Position was a lot of fun.

[19:34] Bobby: Space Invaders.

[19:36] Jason: Remember that one?

[19:36] Bobby: Oh, yeah.

[19:37] Jason: Space Invaders.

[19:40] Bobby: Asteroids.

[19:40] Jason: Yeah, and Defender.

[19:42] Bobby: Centipede, I think it’s called, Centipede, yeah.

[19:45] Jason: I think you can get them all, you can play them all now on the web.

[19:48] Bobby: You can, they’re all available. Q*bert.

[19:50] Jason: Q*bert, yeah, remember Q*bert? That was just in Wreck-It Ralph, man.

[19:54] Bobby: Yeah, I love Wreck-It Ralph, isn’t that great? That was awesome, that brought me back, that was, like, so nostalgic.

[19:59] Jason: And then the thing that was cool is, like, they have, like, Skrillex, something modern, and then all of a sudden you got Q*bert in there, and just these little insider jokes that you won’t get unless you’re our age.

[20:07] Bobby: Exactly. Speaking of Wreck-It Ralph, they announced they’re going to release Wreck-It Ralph 2, so they’re working on that.

[20:13] Jason: That’s aw- I didn’t even know that. That’s awesome.

[20:15] Bobby: And something else that I read online, because I always am reading and love to read, is Nintendo announced the mini NES, and it’s gonna have, like, I think 30 classic games, and it’s gonna be released this year in November.

[20:31] Jason: That’s awesome, talking big screen, you and me.

[20:34] Bobby: That’s, we’re definitely gonna get one of those, and we will definitely play that for you.

[20:39] Jason: Oh, really, so we’re gonna invite you into our video game battles from back in the day.

[20:44] Bobby: Yep, we’re gonna get Zelda, and we’re gonna go in there and help her out.

[20:48] Jason: That’s-

[20:51] Bobby: But yeah, I remember, I know we did a segment before about the mall, and for me, as a kid, I spent so many hours in the arcade. My father would give me the, some money, you go in the coin machine and you get the quarters, you ever put the money in and it always come back out, it never worked?

[21:11] Jason: Yes.

[21:11] Bobby: You have to keep doing it. It still does it all the time. And then you had to go find an attendant to give you quarters, it was just cool, I just remember that stuff.

[21:19] Jason: I used to keep my quarters in a, you know those little plastic pencil things, you’d go to school, there would be like a little plastic, kind of like four inches by six inches. So the quarters, and I used to go, ready, here we go, to the bowling alley.

[21:34] Bobby: Oh, yeah, and the bowling alley was a lot of fun too, man.

[21:36] Jason: The bowling alley was the best.

[21:37] Bobby: Skee ball and all that shit, man.

[21:39] Jason: Yeah, so you’d play, that’s where I would play a lot of my video games. I think there was one called Holiday Skating, there was Holiday Skating Rink. I just crossed lines there, I went from skating rink, I used to play video games, and bowling alley, I remember Holiday.

[21:50] Bobby: You know where I used to go? I used to go to the Deptford Skating Rink, Echelon Skating Center. I was a big fan of roller skating. But do you remember, speaking of the attendants, do you remember they used to wear that thing on their side of their belt? It actually was like a metal thing with their quarters and they would go cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching. Do you remember that?

[22:09] Jason: Yeah, I remember that.

[22:09] Bobby: We need to find one of those, man. That’s ’80s there.

[22:16] Jason: That’s what, if we have guests here on the show for your games, you can sit here and just pass out some quarters.

[22:20] Bobby: Yeah, man, we need to get a pile of quarters and just always have them on the set.

[22:24] Jason: Oh, man, this is just, what great stuff, man. Just this podcast and what we’re doing, just bringing back so much stuff, man.

[23:27] Jason: Thanks. And she says, this came in from our email list. So it’s on our website if you wanna sign up or whatnot, send us an email, join the mailing list. This is from Agata, she says, “Just listened to the podcast, fabulous. I was a big fan of the show and watched it on USA every day. I recorded every show just in case something amazing happened so I could re-watch the shows all weekend.”

[23:56] Jason: Well, we did that too. “I’m now a mom,” we didn’t do that one, “to teenagers, and try to explain how different it was back then to be a fan, having to be home at the precise moment to hit record.” Wow, you remember that?

[24:05] Bobby: Yeah, no DVRs.

[24:06] Jason: Yeah, no DVRs. “Being ready to press and pause to avoid the commercials.” Look at that, smart.

[24:14] Bobby: Smart girl.

[24:15] Jason: “Then doing it all over the next day and every day. Scouring the newsstands looking for the latest teen beat that might have your crush’s pic. Sending fan mail and agonizing over handwritten letters.” Wow, that’s pretty good.

[24:29] Bobby: Oh, yeah.

[24:29] Jason: “In cursive, then having to rewrite or white out mistakes.” OMG, I can remember that.

[24:36] Bobby: White Out, man.

[24:37] Jason: White Out and typing. “Having a friend take 24 pictures of you, then sending it away in the mail to get developed. A week later, when it came in, you chose the best picture to include in the letter, and being a fan was a labor of love,” and we do appreciate it.

[24:54] Bobby: That’s awesome.

[24:55] Jason: Honestly, kids have, it’s so easy these days, screenshots, retweeting, sharing, and liking, and subscribing, too easy. Well, we do appreciate that too, to be honest with you.

[25:05] Bobby: We do, but she’s right, it’s much easier today.

[25:08] Jason: It is. “So good luck with the podcast, love it.” Oh, this is good, “A little PS, my favorite Bob moment, can’t wait to read this. Aside from getting an 8×10 black and white glossy and a response to a letter I sent, was the Valentine’s Day show when you took off your sunglasses during the lip sync to Careless Whisper.”

[25:27] Jason: Hey, Bob-

[25:28] Bobby: Did that happen?

[25:30] Jason: I think so. Hey, Bob, can you share Careless Whisper, man? I know you have that tape, please.

[25:36] Bobby: Oh, man, I wish.

[25:37] Jason: It’s part of my childhood.

[25:38] Bobby: I do, I wish.

[25:39] Jason: And wrapping up the email here, “The anticipation of that nearly killed me. Finally, when it happened, I cried over it for days.” Who didn’t?

[25:48] Bobby: Oh, stop it.

[25:50] Jason: “My kids love that story,” and that is from Agata, I’m not even gonna attempt your last name because I know I’m gonna butcher it.

[25:57] Bobby: That was great. And just loved hearing all that.

[26:00] Jason: What a great email, wow.

[26:03] Bobby: It was, she’s so right, though, about the retweets and favorites. It’s, and sharing, it’s just-

[26:11] Jason: There it is.

[26:11] Bobby: Hey, that’s the first time I said share today.

[26:14] Jason: Cha-ching.

[26:15] Bobby: Share. But no, she’s so right, it’s much easier for young people to communicate and give instant cr-

[26:21] Jason: Whoa, whoa, wait, wait a second, young people, what about all people?

[26:25] Bobby: Well, all people, but I’m saying, you know what I’m saying.

[26:29] Jason: I know what you’re saying, bud. But that was, what a cool thank you for that email.

[26:33] Bobby: And Agata took time out of her busy life as a mom, and she wrote us that great, great email.

[26:41] Jason: And just reading it makes you remember a lot of things, and hopefully if you’re listening to this, it helps you remember some things too, like that little movie in your mind of your memories from back then. I remember those 8×10 black and white glossies.

[26:56] Bobby: Yeah, we used to send them out, sign them.

[26:58] Jason: Yeah.

[26:58] Bobby: I did that all by myself. I thought if a fan took the time to write, that I should respond. I felt, yeah, I think that was the right thing to do.

[27:06] Jason: That’s the way to do it. Well, we used to do things for the marquee thing too, but we used to copy them. My father worked for a newspaper, so I remember I would go, we’d make our little thing, and I would go in there and use the machine at the newspaper. So, how old-timey is that, ladies and gents, right there.

[27:24] Bobby: But we definitely wanna encourage everyone who listens to participate. Send us some emails, send us suggestions, this show is yours.

[27:35] Jason: As you can see, right there with this show, which is, like I said, the first time we’ve really had a chance to. First off, everything that you guys out there have done in your comments and your emails is just amazing. Bob and I, gotta be honest with you, we’re pretty floored at the reaction we’re getting.

[27:52] Bobby: We are. We didn’t expect such an overwhelming reaction, and it’s very much appreciated. And we really mean that.
